Bahrain Decree-Law No. 35/2025 On the Approval of the Unified System (Law) for International Land Transport Among GCC Countries

We, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain,

Pursuant to the perusal of the Constitution, in particular Article (38) thereof; 

Bahrain Decree-Law No. 7/2002 on the approval of the Unified Economic Agreement among the GCC countries;

The Traffic Law issued by Bahrain Law No. 23/2014, as amended by Bahrain Law No. 37/2018; the Unified System (Law) for International Land Transport among GCC Countries, approved by Decision of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council at its forty-third session held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday, 15 Jumada Al Awwal 1444 H., corresponding to 9/12/2022, which is annexed hereto;

Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister; and

After approval of the Council of Ministers;

Issued the following Law:

Article 1

The Unified System (Law) for International Land Transport among GCC Countries, annexed to this Law, is hereby approved.

Article 2

In application of the provisions of the annexed Law, the term (Competent Authority) shall mean the government entity designated by a decree.
