Ajman Local Order No. 4/2015 On the Mandatory Sorting of the Facilities' Waste

The Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman,

Having perused the provisions of the Ajman Emiri Decree No. 14/2006,

And based on the suggestion of the Director General,

And for what we have considered conducive to the achievement of Public Interest,

Issued the following Local Order:

Article 1 - Definitions

In this Local Order, unless the context contradicts any other Local Order, the following words and expressions shall mean the following:

Wet Waste: Organic waste consisting of food residues.

Dry Waste: Recyclable waste (paper, cardboard, plastic containers, metal and iron containers).

Competent Department: Public Health and Environment Department-Municipality and Planning Department.
