Ajman Emiri Decree No. 6/2023 On Regulating Holiday Homes in the Emirate of Ajman

We, Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Ajman,

Pursuant to the perusal of Federal Law No. 5/1985 on promulgating the UAE Civil Transactions Law, and its amendments;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 3/2012 on establishing the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 4/2014 on Re-organising the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman, and its amendments;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 2/2018 on the Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Ajman; and

Based upon the approval of the Legislation Committee,

Have hereby decreed the following:

Article 1 - Definitions

The following terms and expressions shall, wherever they appear in this Decree, have the meanings assigned to them, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • State: United Arab Emirates.

  • Emirate: Emirate of Ajman.

  • Ruler: Ruler of the Emirate.

  • Crown Prince: Crown Prince of the Emirate.

  • Department: Department of Tourism Development in Ajman.

  • Chairman: Chairman of the Department.

  • Director-General: Director General of the Department.

  • Concerned Entities: Relevant local or federal entities.
