Abrogates:

Ajman Decision No. 88/2008

We, Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Ajman,

After perusal of Ajman Emiri Decree No. 11/2011 on the issuance of the Financial Law of the Government of Ajman;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 4/2014 re-organising the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman, and its amendments;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 4/2017 on the issuance of the Human Resources Law of the Government of Ajman;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 2/2018 on the Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Ajman;

Ajman Decision No. 88/2008 on the establishment of the media office at the Diwan of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman; and

Based on the approval of the Legislation Committee,

Have hereby decreed the following:

Article 1 - Definitions

The following terms and expressions shall, wherever they appear in this Decree, have the meanings assigned against each, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • Emirate: The Emirate of Ajman.

  • Government: The Government of the Emirate.

  • Executive Council: The Executive Council of the Emirate.
