Ajman Administrative Decision No. 5/2014 On General and Special Powers of Attorney

After perusal of Ajman Emiri Decree No. 12/2012 on the Reorganisation of Ajman Land and Property Department;

Ajman Emiri Decree No. 7/2012 on the approval of the Organisational Structure of the Department;

Ajman Administrative Decision No. 9/2012 determining the Competencies and obligations of the Organisational Units at the Department; and

Based on the work requirements,

Decided the following:

Article 1

All general and special powers of attorney shall be subject, when used to conduct the sale process, to the fees prescribed at the Department, except for the following cases:

- Registration for oneself directly from the owner.

- A Kinship of the first degree between the principal and agent in addition to brotherhood.

- Agent of the heirs

- A general power of attorney for minimum three years.

- The Director-General may exempt the cases which he considers to fall within the provisions of this Article.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force as of 01/01/2014 and shall be circulated to the entities concerned with its implementation.
