On considering the period from 17 March 2020 to the date of the entry into force of the Egypt Ministerial Decree No. 1246/2020 as a period of suspension with regard to the lapse of right and procedural deadlines for obligatory challenges, lawsuits, judicial appeals and other deadlines and deadlines stipulated by Laws and governing Decrees.

On adding a representative of the Central Bank to the membership of both the Ministerial Committee for Settlement of Investment Contract Disputes and the Ministerial Committee for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.

On licensing each of the Ministry of Finance, the New Urban Communities Authority, the National Investment Bank and the National Tunnels Authority, to participate in the establishment of a joint stock company with purpose of “establishing, managing, operating, and maintaining metro lines and rail transport by electric traction”.
