Part-Time Student Employment Allowed in DCCA

Dubai Creative Clusters Authority (DCCA) Free Zone employers can now hire students for part-time employment under specific conditions defined by the Authority.

Employers need to complete the application process and obtain ID card online for free.

Student Worker Eligibility Criteria

Eligible students must be at least 18 years of age and have valid residence permit sponsored by one of the 23 academic institutions in the DCCA. They must have completed a minimum of one year full-time study and must be able to provide the following:

• A Student Eligibility Confirmation approval from the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA);

• A no objection letter from their legal guardian or / and an entity financially sponsoring their education;

• An undertaking letter; and

• A medical insurance coverage.

Employer Eligibility Criteria

Employers must be in a good standing with the DCCA and must execute a part-time employment contract on a template provided by the Authority.
