The allowable stay period for South Korean nationals travelling under a visitor visa-on-arrival has been reduced from 90 to 30 days.
South Korean nationals were eligible for a long-term visa-on-arrival since 21st September 2016, following the announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. However, it is not clear whether the implementation of this has been put on hold or delayed.
What This Means for Employers and Foreign Nationals
South Korean nationals can remain in the UAE under a visitor visa-on-arrival for up to 30 days, with a possibility of one-time extension of up to 30 days.
