Effective immediately, foreign nationals and residents of GCC countries who can enter under a visa-on-arrival must obtain an online visit visa pre-approval prior to arrival.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a visitor visa, traveller must meet the below requirements:

• GCC residents must have a residence permit valid for at least six months, and must be of one of the approved professions;

• Travellers cannot have any active immigration bans; and

• Travellers cannot apply with temporary travel documents.

Pre-Approval Details

Applicants must submit their personal details, copies of their passport and credit card number (optional, for verification purposes only). Travellers will be charged a fee of KD 3 (approximately USD 10) at the visa counter on arrival in Kuwait.
