Analysis
Holders of multiple entry visas can stay in Oman for up to three months, instead of the previous three week-cutoff with immediate effect according to an announcement by the Royal Oman Police.
Multiple entry visas are issued to foreign business travellers on the request of their local sponsor, or without sponsorship if the individual is of an approved nationality. Under certain conditions, landowners are also eligible for this visa category.
The validity of the multiple entry visa is between six and twelve months, and it costs 50 Riyals per application.
What This Means for Employers and Foreign Nationals
Foreign business travellers holding a multiple entry visa to Oman may benefit from longer stays up to three months.
