The UAE's Finance Ministry has signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation on income with Jersey.
The agreement comes as a result of talks between the two countries since last January and is aimed at helping strengthen bilateral relations. The Financial Jersey regional office was established in Dubai in March 2011.
The agreement was signed for the UAE by its Minister of State for Financial Affairs, HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and for Jersey by its Chief Minister Senator, Ian Gorst.
