The UAE's Finance Ministry has signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation with the United Kingdom.
The agreement aims to enhance the economic and trade relations between the two countries and protect companies and individuals from direct or indirect double taxation.
The agreement was signed for the UAE by its Minister of State for Financial Affairs, HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and for the UK by the Commercial Secretary to the UK Treasury, Lord O'Neill of Gatley.
