Doha has the opportunity to establish itself as one of the preferred arbitration venues in the Middle-East, if plans to introduce a new Arbitration Law in Qatar are successfully implemented. To do so it is critical Qatar can demonstrate it offers efficient, cost-effective arbitration. Successful implementation of the new legislation would send a clear message Qatar is open for international arbitration business.
