The Passports General Directorate has announced that Saudi nationals aged 15 and over applying for passports and national ID cards must submit fingerprints with their applications.
Applicants can collect their new cards and passports from the Passport Authority or they can request the documents be delivered by mail.
The new regulation seeks to enhance national security.
