Analysis
In the past few years the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the "<emph typestyle='bf' >KSA </emph> ") has undergone numerous reforms in respect of employment and immigration regulations. Most recently, the KSA has introduced a new regulatory regime called the 'Ajeer' system. Ajeer literally translates to a person who works in return for a wage (i.e. employee). Ajeer is designed to regulate and document the temporary work of foreign employees (expatriates) working for non-sponsors. It is an electronic system that is still in its initial stages with plans to expand its reach to different market sectors in the future.
