The optional facility, which costs approximately £600 in addition to regular visa processing fees, seeks to process visa applications within 24 hours, sometimes sooner. As of now, the service is available for applicants of long term, multiple-entry, study and work visas.

According to the UK government, UAE residents are able to avail this facility by applying for an appointment online. Appointments can be made for 8-10am, Sunday to Thursday at designated VFS Global visa centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

UAE nationals are still able to obtain visa-free access to the UK for a period of up to six months by way of an Electronic Visa Waiver, as long as they register 48 hours prior to their departure to the UK.
