In the aftermath of the Torch Tower blaze, in the Dubai Marina, a number of questions have been raised regarding the rights of tenants and which have highlighted a predicament which tenants may find themselves in, in possibly having to move out of their leased apartment (due to damage or destruction), whilst the landlord has an advance rent payment and is holding further rent cheques.
