Analysis
Due to a recent diplomatic fallout between Sweden and Saudi Arabia, Swedish nationals are expected to be restricted from obtaining business visas or longer-term work authorisation in Saudi Arabia. As with all these types of matters, these restrictions remain at the discretion of the immigration authorities, are heavily contingent on future diplomatic relations between the two countries, and are subject to change without prior notice.
Due to a recent diplomatic fallout between Sweden and Saudi Arabia, Swedish nationals may experience difficulties in obtaining visas/permits for Saudi Arabia or renewing existing residence permits (Iqamas).
