Bahrain Signs Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement with Cyprus

Bahrain has signed a number of agreements with Cyprus including an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation between the two countries.

The agreement was signed for the Kingdom by its Finance Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa and for Cyprus by the Foreign Minister, Ioannis Kasoulides.

Other agreements covering aviation, health cooperation and counter-terrorism, organised crime, drugs trading, illegal immigration and other criminal offences were also signed.

They were signed for the Kingdom by the Transport and Telecommunications Minister, Kamal Ahmed and for Cyprus by Ioannis Kasoulides, Bahrain's Health Minister, Sadeq Shihaby and for Cyprus by Ioannis Kasoulides and by the Kingdom's Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf Minister Sheikh Khaled Bin Ali Al Khalifa and for Cyprus by Ioannis Kasoulides respectively.
