In a move designed to encourage direct foreign ownership of Saudi listed shares, the Capital Market Authority of Saudi Arabia (the CMA), has opened a consultation through the publication of Draft Rules for Qualified Foreign Financial Institutions Investment in Listed Shares (the Draft Rules).
