On 20 April 2014, Egypt's Finance Ministry announced Egypt and Saudi Arabia had concluded the final round of negotiations for an income tax treaty between both countries.

Iraq

On 15 April 2014, Iraq's Council of Ministers authorised the Finance Ministry to launch negotiations with Armenia to sign an income and capital tax treaty.

On 22 April 2014, Iraq's Cabinet approved the signing of draft income tax treaties with Georgia and the Philippines.

Kuwait

On 2 April 2014, Kuwait's National Assembly approved the income tax treaty between Kuwait and Tajikistan which was signed on 23 June 2013.

On 8 April 2014, an income tax treaty was signed between Kuwait represented by its Foreign Ministry Undersecretary, Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah and Cuba represented by its Deputy Foreign Minister, Rogelio Sierra Diaz.

Qatar

On 23 April 2014, an income tax treaty was signed between Kenya and Qatar during the official visit of the Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, to the country.
