Amman's Customs Directorate has announced mentally disabled people will be exempt from car tariffs as will the families of disabled people where the car is being driven by a relative. The changes apply from May 2013.
The Licensing Department will issue the licenses once the regulations are approved by the Supreme Council for People with Disabilities, the Income and Sales Tax Department and Health and Social Development Ministries.
