Analysis
Jordan's Tax Department has urged traders, manufacturers, and service providers to take advantage of the tax payment registration amnesty earlier announced in a Cabinet Decision. Under the Decision, companies who should have registered by 31 July 2012 but failed to do so, have been given until the 31 December 2012 to register. The amnesty applies retrospectively from the 1 January 2012.
Commercial outlets and factories operating in Jordan will be able to register to pay their taxes penalty-free from 31 July 2012 to 31 December 2012.
