Analysis
The DFSA recently published Consultation Paper No 81, the purpose of which is to present proposed enhancements to DIFC Law No 1/2004 (the Regulatory Law 2004) and additional chapters to the Regulatory Policy and Process (RPP) module of the DFSA's Rulebook. These chapters outline the DFSA's policies and process when exercising its supervisory and enforcement powers, and the type of decision making procedures it will adopt when exercising such powers. These changes will affect (re)insurers and service providers authorised by the DFSA in the DIFC. The Consultation Paper was issued on 12 December 2011 and closed for comments on 21 January 2012
