Bahrain: HM King Hamad Issues Six Laws Ratifying International Agreements

HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued six laws, ratifying several international agreements, including an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation with Georgia

Bahrain Law No. 11/2012 ratifies a cooperation agreement in the trade navigation field between Bahrain and Morocco which was signed on 13 June 2002 in Marrakech.

Bahrain Law No. 12/2012 ratifies an agreement between Bahrain and Sri Lanka on avoiding double taxation and fiscal evasion which was signed in Kuala Lumpur on 24 June 2011.

Bahrain Law No. 13/2012 ratifies an agreement between Bahrain and the Czech Republic on avoiding double taxation and fiscal evasion which was signed in Prague on 24 May 2011.

Bahrain Law No. 14/2012 approves Bahrain's accession to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade which was adopted in Rotterdam on 10 September 1998.

Bahrain Law No. 15/2012 ratifies a sea transportation agreement for commercial purposes between Bahrain and Turkey which was signed on 2 May 2006 in Ankara.
