The Jordanian government has raised the tariff on electricity use by hotels by 12.6% to 98 fils per kilowatt-hour, drawing criticism from hotel owners and managers
The government raised the tariff on electricity by 12.6% for hotels in all categories earlier this month, resulting in disapproval from managers of hotel establishments.
The new tariff raises the amount of the tariff to 98 fils per kilowatt-hour, an increase of 11 fils from the previous tariff of 87 fils per kilowatt-hour.
