This case involved a request by an employee for reinstatement and the payment of their salary. The employee had been dismissed for excessive absence but this had not been proved and the dismissal decision had been issued more than a month and a half after the disciplinary investigation which violated the law.
Background
An employee filed an appeal before the First Instance Authority for the Settlement of Labour Disputes in Jeddah against a company requesting their reinstatement work and the payment of their salary.
The Authority issued a ruling requesting the company to reinstate the employee and pay his salaries starting from the time of dismissal until the date of his return to work.
