An employee made a claim for unpaid dues and then appealed as he claimed the authority had not taken all his requests into consideration when doing the calculation. This was rejected as the employee had resigned and had not provided evidence these amounts were owed.
Background
An employee filed a case against a company and requested the elementary authority for the settlement of labour disputes order them to pay his dues and compensation.
The elementary authority ruled the company should pay the employee 29758 Riyals.
Decision
The employee appealed the ruling before the High Authority for the Settlement of Labour Disputes and stated the elementary authority had not considered all his requests.
The high authority stated this argument was invalid because the employee had failed to provide any evidence that he deserved these allowances and had willingly resigned from his job.
The high authority upheld the elementary ruling.
