Background
The general attorney filed a case at Buraydah Partial Court against a defendant claiming they had threatened to kill them by SMS and had tried to hit them with an axe. The general attorney requested the court to punish the defendant.
The defendant denied the allegations made by the general attorney and stated he had been requested by the police to confess.
The claimant stated the defendant was his sister's husband and he had divorced her and was an alcoholic. The claimant stated the defendant had tried to break the door of the woman's house and then had tried to hit the claimant with the axe. The claimant stated he then sent him many insulting messages and threatened to kill him.
The claimant brought a witness who confirmed the accident. The claimant's sister also confirmed the accident.
