This case involved a company which had failed to pay an agreed amount for a project. The company failed to attend the hearing so a decision was made, A plea was later made to the court but it was stated the case had been previously settled.
Background
A company filed a case against another company before the court. The company requested the court to order the other company to pay 677646 Riyals. The company said that they had conducted a project on behalf of the other company but the latter had failed to pay the value of the contract.
The court said that the company had failed to attend the court hearing though they were informed with the case against them.
Decision
The court ruled that the other company should pay the company the amount.
The other company made a plea to the court.
The court dismissed the appealed ruling and said that the case had been previously settled.
The company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.
The court of appeal upheld the appealed ruling.
