SCA 1811/2019
This case involved equipment which it was said had not been fixed and had been seized. It was stated the equipment had been fixed but the company had refused to accept it back. The company was ordered to return the vehicle.
Background
A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He requested the court to order the company to pay 27000 Riyals. He said that the company failed to fix his digger. He also requested the court to order the company 1200000 Riyals as compensation for the reservation of the digger.
The company denied the claimant's claims and that that it fixed the digger and that the claimant had failed to receive it for four years.
Decision
The court ruled that the company should deliver the digger to the claimant and dismissed the other requests.
The company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.
The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
