A claimant filed a case against a defendant before the court. He requested the court to order the defendant to pay 110916 Riyals. He said that the defendant had rented equipment from him and failed to pay the rent.

The defendant denied the claimant’s claim.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the claimant had provided the court with the documents that proved his claim including a bill signed by one of the defendant’s employees. The court said that the defendant had failed to prove his claim.

The court ruled that the defendant should pay the claimant 110961 Riyals.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
