A company filed a case against a defendant before the court. They requested the court to order the defendant to pay them 430421 Riyals and return a car he had rented from them. The company said that the defendant had rented cars from them but he had failed to commit to his obligations.

The defendant admitted that he owed the mentioned amount but he asked for the company to receive repayment in instalments.

The court ruled that the defendant should pay the company the amount in addition to the expenses of the lawyer.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on the same grounds.
