A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He requested the court to order the company to fix an elevator they had installed and pay compensation. He also requested the court to order the company to pledge to fix the elevator in the future.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the company had failed to respond to the claims made by the claimant in violation to Article 170 of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 11/1435. The court said that the expert report t confirmed the existence of many problems with the elevator.

The court ruled that the company should pay the claimant 21955 Riyals.

The court of appeal upheld the ruling based on the same grounds.
