Claimants filed a case against a defendant before the court. They said that they had paid the defendant some amounts of money in order to invest in a business. They said that the defendant had failed to commit to his obligations. They requested the court to order the defendant to pay the amounts.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the case documents provided the court with the documents that proved their claims. The court said that the defendant had failed to attend the court hearings though he was informed of the case.

The court ruled that the defendant should pay the first claimant 250000 Riyals and pay 100000 Riyals to the second claimant.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah l upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
