A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He requested the court to order the company to pay him 68000 Riyals. He said that the company had rented equipment from him and failed to pay the rent.

The company denied the existence of the transaction and said that the claimant had signed the contract with a different company.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the claimant had failed to provide the court with the documents that proved his claim. The court offered the claimant to the opportunity to ask the company to take the oath in order to deny his claims but he rejected the offer.

The court dismissed the case.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
