A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He requested the court to order the company to pay him 28000 Riyals. He said that the company had rented a car with driver from him and failed to commit to their obligations.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the claimant had provided the court with the documents that proved his claim including a contract signed with the company. The court said that the company had failed to attend the court hearings though they were informed of the case.

The court ruled that the company should pay the claimant the mentioned amount.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
