Background
A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He requested the court to order the company to pay him 308274 Riyals. He said that he had supplied the company with raw materials but the company had failed to pay the remaining amount
The company admitted the existence of the transaction but they said that they had already paid part of the amount.
The court said that the case documents revealed that the claimant had provided the court with the documents that proved his claims. The court said that case documents also revealed that the company had failed to prove their claim.
Decision
The court ruled that the company should pay the claimant the amount in addition to 30000 Riyals for the lawyer's expenses.
Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
