A company filed a case against a defendant before the court. The company requested the court to order the defendant to pay 43610 Riyals. The company said that they had supplied the defendant with goods and that he had failed to pay their value.

The defendant admitted that he owed the mentioned amount but he requested the company to let him pay in instalments.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the company had offered the defendant to pay the amount in instalments but they had failed to commit to their obligations.

The court ruled that the defendant should pay the company the amount.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
