This case involved a request for an order to pay where concrete which had been supplied had not been paid for. The defendant had not attended the hearing and the claimant had provided evidence.
Background
A company filed a case against a company before the court. The company requested the court to order the other company to pay 527855 Riyals. The company said that they had supplied the other company with concrete but the latter failed to pay the remaining value of the contract.
Decision
The court said that the case documents revealed that the other company had failed to attend the court hearings. The court said that the case documents also revealed that the company provided the court with the documents that prove their claims.
The court ruled that the other company should pay the company the amount.
The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
