SCA 1328/2019

Background
A company filed a case against another company before the court. The company requested the court to order the other company to pay 567855 Riyals. The company said that they had supplied the other company with concrete but the latter had failed to pay the contracted amount.
Decision
The court said that the case documents revealed that the company had provided the court with the documents that proved their claims. The court said that the case documents revealed that the other company had failed to attend the court hearing though they were informed of the case.
The court ruled that the other company should pay the company the amount.
The Court of Appeal – Riyadh upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
