Background
A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He said that he had rented a car from the company and that he was in an accident. He said that he had paid the full entitlements to the company. He said that the company then went to the court of execution and issued a payment order of 91500 Riyals against him. He requested the court to suspend the execution of the order.
Decision
The court said that Article 205 of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 11/1435 stipulated that the relevant court could consider the urgent request on the grounds that the right to the relevant party could be lost and that this request would not affect the original case. The court said that the court concluded that the claimant’s right would not be lost in the dispute at the current time
The court dismissed the case.
