Background

A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. They requested the court to order the company to pay compensation and dismiss the partnership contract. They said that they were a partner in the company and the latter had failed to pay them their share in the profits.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the claimant had provided the court with a share certificate issued by the company. The court said that the documents also revealed that the company had violated the contract agreed between the two parties. The court also said that the company ha failed to attend the court hearing.

The court ruled that the company should pay the claimant 200000 Riyals.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on the same grounds.
