A contractor filed a case against a company before the court. He said that the company had assigned him to finish contracting work in a project but they had failed to commit to their obligations. He requested the court to order the company to pay 1202208 Riyals.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the contractor had provided the court with documents that proved their claims. The court said that the case documents also revealed that the company had failed to attend the court hearings though they were informed of the case.

The court ruled that the company should pay the contractor the amount.

The Court of Appeal – Dammam upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
