This case involved a case filed by one company because another company had requested they pay a disputed amount for purchased goods. This was a reversal case and they did not have the right to file it.
Background
A company filed a case against a company before the court. The company said that the other company had supplied raw materials to them. The company said that the other company had requested them to pay 72000000 Riyals although they had failed to provide evidence of their claim. The company requested the court to prove that they did not owe the amount stated to the other company
Decision
The court said that the case filed by the company was a reversed one. The court said that the company did not have the right to file the case on the grounds that the other company had requested they pay an amount of money as a result of commercial transaction.
The court dismissed the case.
The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
