SCA 1075/2019

Background

A company filed a case against another company before the court. The company said that they had recruited workers for the other company. The company said that the other company had failed to commit to their obligations and pay the contract value.

The other company said that the two parties had agreed to resort to the department of labour before considering the case before the court.

The court said that the case documents revealed that the company had provided the court with the documents that proved her claims including a contract signed with the other company. The court said that the other company had failed to prove her claims.

Decision

The court ruled that the other company should pay the company the contract value.

The Court of Appeal – Jeddah upheld the ruling based on same grounds.
