Background
Two claimants filed a case against a defendant before the court. They said that they were partners with the defendant in a company. They said that a bank had requested the court to update its details so the accounts were not suspended. They said that the defendant had failed to update these details. The claimants requested the court to order the defendant to approve the update forms.
The defendant said that the mentioned company was in liquidation and that there was a case is being considered by the court in this regard. He requested the court to dismiss the case.
Decision
The court ruled that the consideration of the case should be suspended in accordance with Article 87 of the Law of Advocacy.
The claimants appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.
The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
