This case involved an agreement to transport goods which it was said was breached. The defendant was an agent of the drivers and took the oath to prove the agreement had terminated.

Background

A company filed a case against a defendant before the court. They requested the court to order the defendant to pay 452810 Riyals. They said that they assigned the defendant to transfer goods and the latter failed to do so.

The defendant said that the agreement signed with the company was terminated. He said that he was a broker between the company and the drivers of the trollies. The defendant took the oath in order to prove his claim.

The court dismissed the case.

The company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.

The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
