SCA 35335996/2013

The dispute involved the ownership of property by two siblings whose father had died. One claimed that there had been a sham sale to one of the siblings in order to claim a loan from the Real Estate Development Fund loan. The brother swore an oath it was a genuine sale but both the siblings brought witnesses who gave contradictory evidence on the nature of the sale. The appeal court requested the general court attempt a reconciliation between the two parties but when they refused to settle the appeal court upheld the ruling.
