The case involved a bank customer who had been tricked into providing information on this bank account which was then used to make a number of unauthorized transfers from that account, one of which was in favour of the defendant. The defendant and another individual had been given a criminal sentence for this crime. A key point was although the defendant claimed he had been tricked he had to hand back 30,000 as according to Prophetical tradition hand that takes is responsible for what it has taken until it returns it.
